When you first open StackPulse, you will be guided to create your first routine stack. Give it a name, set a time window, choose your repeat schedule, and tap Create Stack. Sample steps are added automatically — edit or replace them to match your own routine.
Tap Edit Stack on the home screen to add, remove, or reorder steps. Each step has a name, a planned duration, and an optional icon. Toggle a step off to skip it without deleting it. Drag the handle to reorder steps.
Tap Start Stack to enter runner mode. A full-screen timer counts down each step and automatically advances to the next. You can pause, skip, add time (+30 seconds or +1 minute), or end the session early at any time.
After completing a session, the summary screen shows your planned time versus actual time for each step. If a step consistently runs over, StackPulse will suggest adjusting the planned duration. You can accept or dismiss these suggestions.
Tap View Log to see your weekly completion status, average start time, and which steps most frequently run over time.
StackPulse uses local notifications to remind you when your stack is scheduled to start and to alert you when a step transition occurs while the app is in the background. You can manage notification permissions in your device Settings.
